This 11-acre park features not only the most northern trail in Zionsville but also Zionsville's first ever dog park. Heritage Trail Park has a large picnic areas with grills and tables, a basketball court that is also painted for pickleball, a playground for the kids, a bocce court, and cornhole! Just be sure to bring your own bags. There are also garden slots available to rent.
The Hussey-Mayfield Memorial Public Library's mission is to serve its community. They offer the latest books, access to the internet, entertainment, and access to reserve conference rooms for residents of Zionsville. SullivanMunce Cultural Center has been the source for all things art, history, and genealogy since 1973. The art center hosts many exhibits throughout the year displaying art from local and regional artists as well as art classes, summer camp, and professional workshops. The history museum located in the Cultural Center brings attention to the history and culture to the Zionsville region, helping bring appreciation to the local community. The Zionsville Nature Center is centered around habitats and wildlife local to Indiana. The center encourages families to be mindful about the environment through different activities and programs, as well as exhibits within the Nature Center. The exhibits feature some animals on display such as amphibians, snakes, and turtles.
The Zionsville Farmers Market can be found on Main Street, "on the bricks" every Saturday starting in May and ending in September from 8 to 11:30 am. With their main goal of supporting local farmers and the Zionsville community, you can find fresh produce, food, apparel, gifts, goods and more. The farmers market also hosts special events like "Roasted Corn Giveaway", "Dog Days of Summer", and "Pumpkin Palooza." The Zionsville Golf Course is located near downtown and is perfect for a fun afternoon outing or if you're looking to have a little friendly competition.
