A Little About Me!
I have lived in Indiana for more than 25 years and am proud to call it home! I was born in Michigan, spent my elementary years in Scottsdale, Arizona and made a brief stop in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, before my family settled back down in Michigan and that is where I graduated high school. My college years were spent in Arizona. I graduated from Arizona State in 1986 with a major in Finance and minors in Economics and Spanish. This was a time that I will never forget with the Tri Delts, Greek Leaders, Campus Service, and amazing friends. At the end of college, I met a Wildcat guy (University of Arizona) who later became my husband. In the time that we dated, we had to work through the issues of being HUGE rivals of two Pac-10 schools. After graduating college, we both worked in California; I worked in Northern California, while my husband, John, was in Los Angeles.
Ultimately we found that if we moved to the Midwest, we could "cure" some of our undergraduate rivalry issues, so we made a move to Chicago while John completed grad school. In 1991, we settled down in Zionsville, Indiana. After moving, John started working for Eli Lily & Company and I began a Career in medical sales until 1996, when our third child, AnnCatherine, was born. I took some time off and in 2004, I decided it was time to go back to work; this is when I made my move to real estate. John and I are proud parents of four living children.
Our oldest, Tim, is a graduate of the University of Georgia, and is gainfully employed! Our oldest daughter Lillie is graduate of Mizzou and is studying law at Syracuse University. Our daughter, AnnCatherine is a student at George Mason University. She has Down Syndrome and it's our delight to watch her reach her goals and dreams. Our youngest, Mari, is a sophomore at University of Georgia and loves being involved on campus. Three of our four children attended the International School and we loved the culture at the International School, as well as the people, academics and the fact that our children were trilingual by the time they got to high school. We have also had an amazing experience with the Zionsville schools and cannot say enough about the academic support that we've received for our AP scholars as well as for our special needs child!
I am fluent in Spanish and love the Latino culture. Many Latino threads have been woven throughout my life. I have had the honor of being a part of a Presbyterian Church plant in the Yucatan Peninsula of Mexico for several years, and I have loved every minute of it! Not only am I fluent in Spanish, but I can speak just enough French to be dangerous! Although Indiana offers me neither the mountains of Colorado for skiing, nor the beaches of South Carolina, it is my home and I am proud to call it that! I chose real estate because it is a privilege to help people reach their goal in what is the single, largest financial transaction that most people undertake. It takes expert negotiation, finesse, sensitivity, and a deep understanding of the local market. On the side of selling a home, I utilize marketing techniques that yield strong results! I've built a career as a top producing agent and have sold more than $125 million in real estate! I chose Century 21 because it is home. When I went to real estate I wanted to work with the best in the business. Century 21 Scheetz in Indiana has a phenomenal reputation and is led by respected, seasoned brokers. Century 21 itself, is respected and known both nationally and internationally. The strong resources have given me a solid foundation to offer my clients exceptional care and results. I chose real estate because it is a privilege to help people reach their goal in what is the single, largest financial transaction that most people undertake. It takes expert negotiation, finesse, sensitivity, and a deep understanding of the local market. I enjoy being “an expert” in these abilities and using my talents to help others reach their goals.

The real estate market is changing and to serve my clients I stay on top of the changes. Ongoing education and training are paramount to me and help keep me in a position to aggressively help you achieve your real estate goals. Technology and the internet is a significant portion of our growing real estate business. I am e-Pro Certified, an ABR and I am also a Fine Homes and Estates designated REALTOR and understand the intricacies of buying and selling homes in this special market.
I am an experienced sales professional who excels in the art of negotiation. My sales training came from one of the top five sales and marketing corporations in the nation: Johnson & Johnson. Prior to becoming a REALTOR, I received extensive executive sales experience in pharmaceuticals and the operating room markets. During that tenure, I was consistently the top sales person in the country as well as the National Sales Trainer. As a REALTOR, I am consistently the top selling agent in my office. I’m pleased to have been ranked as a top ten individual agent by the IBJ (Indianapolis Business Journal) the last several years. We have more than 6,000 REALTORS in the Indianapolis market so this ranking is not easy to achieve.
In my first year of real estate, I was named Rookie of the Year and have continued to grow my business exponentially…by returning clients, by referrals, and by effectively marketing YOUR HOME on the internet! I very much enjoy the working relationship that I develop with my clients and never hand my clients or their transaction over to an assistant to manage. It is a huge privilege to be entrusted with the trust of managing the purchase/sale of one’s home. For most people, it is the single largest financial transaction that they will ever execute. I take that trust and responsibility extremely seriously. When you need an excellent REALTOR, we need to talk! As your professional REALTOR, my mission is to make the process of buying or selling your home as easy and as satisfying as possible.
I know that each client has different needs and feel it is a privilege to help you meet yours. I take the REALTOR Code Of Ethics and Professional Conduct seriously, and as a result, run my business with honesty and integrity.
Thanks for taking a moment to get to know me! I look forward to meeting you in person.
